[jira] Created: (FELIX-1321) features XML file for the karaf
components required to be able to use features within an osgi container
(e.g. to add the karaf pieces to felix/equinox inside pax-exam)
features XML file for the karaf components required to be able to use features within an osgi container (e.g. to add the karaf pieces to felix/equinox inside pax-exam)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: FELIX-1321
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-1321
Project: Felix
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Karaf
Reporter: james strachan
I'd like to be able to use the Karaf FeaturesService to deploy features into OSGi - from within a vanilla felix/equinox/knoplerfish container - via Pax-Exam; so having a features XML for the core of Karaf would be great.

Chris Custine commented on FELIX-1321:
--------------------------------------
I'm working on a native Pax-Exam profile definition to accomplish the exact same thing. This will also allow us to specify properties, and other Pax-Exam config items to exactly duplicate a Karaf container. I'll leave this issue open for now and link to the new one when I add it.
