[jira] [Created] (OAK-2429) MissingIndexProviderStrategy too eager
to set the reindex flag
Alex Parvulescu created OAK-2429:
------------------------------------
Summary: MissingIndexProviderStrategy too eager to set the reindex flag
Key: OAK-2429
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-2429
Project: Jackrabbit Oak
Issue Type: Bug
Components: core
Reporter: Alex Parvulescu
Assignee: Alex Parvulescu
Fix For: 1.1.6, 1.0.11
Following OAK-2203, the MissingIndexProviderStrategy will set the reindex flag is a provider is missing. What is doesn't take into account is if the reindex flag is already set to 'true'. If this is the case, it should skip setting it again.
I've ran into this while working on the cold standby and some 'disabled' type indexes were always getting updated.
