[jira] Created: (XMLBEANS-177) Support for Character References

Support for Character References
--------------------------------

         Key: XMLBEANS-177
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XMLBEANS-177
     Project: XMLBeans
        Type: New Feature
    Reporter: Radu Preotiuc-Pietro
     Fix For: Version 2.1

Sometimes it may be desireable to control the use of character references in the documents that XmlBeans saves (mostly for legacy applications). I am attaching a patch from Roger Weber which is supposed to add this capability, but unfortunately is bundled with a CDATA fix which we will handle separately (see XMLBEANS-176).

Wing Yew Poon closed XMLBEANS-177:
----------------------------------

Tests have been added to svn for this feature.
Tests pass modulo a small problem with escaping '>' in the three-character sequence "]]>" (XMLBEANS-192).
