Patch attached. My only concern is what to call the module. On one hand we have hadoop- prefix for all the modules (partially to avoid name clashes when our code is used in a bigger puppet context) on the other hand mahout is not (and have never been) a subproject of hadoop. Either way -- let me know what do you think.
