   It will do it in that case, but earlier I used it to try to create RC0 for 5.1.2, and it created and pushed a tag but the VERSION file still had `5.1.1` in it. I don't know why the version didn't get updated - I don't have the output from that command, I can only see it in my shell history - but in that case the script should definitely fail
