   Hey @ahmb84 This is on my list of things to take a look at. I'll hopefully be able to get to this before the end of the week or early next week. Since you have an implementation you made, feel free to open an actual PR to fix this and just make sure to name it with `GH-33916: [Go]` as a prefix and we can discuss any nuances to your changes on the PR.
