[jira] [Created] (LOG4J2-3590) Remove SLF4J 1.8 binding

Piotr Karwasz created LOG4J2-3590:
-------------------------------------

             Summary: Remove SLF4J 1.8 binding
                 Key: LOG4J2-3590
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4J2-3590
             Project: Log4j 2
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Piotr Karwasz

The SLF4J 1.8.x series never produced a stable release.

Since the introduction of SLF4J 2.x, the {{log4j-slf4j18-impl}} module should be removed.
