Now, REEF supports various resource managers (RMs) like YARN and Mesos. [Kubernetes|https://kubernetes.io/] could be another option for REEF. 

As Kubernetes provides docker shell for each container, the REEF evaluator would run on the virtual docker containers provided from Kubernetes - which could be different from REEF-on-YARN or REEF-on-Mesos.
