Having more than one "map" in the same chart

Hello,
As the title, I'm trying to have two maps in the same chart.
I'd like to show Italy with its political subdivisions, and the neighbour countries as a whole.

I thought that the way to do it is to create more "map" series, one for each map, but I discovered that despite being errorless (that is, each configuration works correctly if the map is taken one at a time) when I put all together only the first map of the list displays.

I'm loading the maps using the javascript way, I don't know if using the geoJSON solution would work, because I've found only the javascript compiled version of the maps

Am I following the correct way or is there a simpler way to do the job?
Many thanks

Hi Alessandro

Multiple maps on the same chart should work. Can you provide your
reproducible demo to us?
