   ### Describe the enhancement requested
   
   I just discovered that the [java nightly docs](https://arrow.apache.org/docs/dev/developers/java/building.html#installing-nightly-packages) don't explain the SNAPSHOT version which is always the most recent build and can be used in projects to avoid having to manually update the version each day.

   https://nightlies.apache.org/arrow/java is where we keep the nightlies in maven like repo 
   
   You can check the java nightly job in .github/workflows for the details of how we upload the files and rename them.
