Does anybody run hadoop 0.20.2-cdh3u5 on Mesos ?

Hi all,

I am planning to run hadoop over mesos, but our hadoop version
is 0.20.2-cdh3u5.

I am wondering if I can use this patch (CDH3u3:
https://github.com/patelh/cdh3u3-with-mesos).

Does anyone run 0.20.2-cdh3u5 successfully?

Hi Guodong,

I don't know that author, but the github repository looks to be a year old.
Hence, it's highly unlikely it will work with the current version of mesos.
We provide two patches inside our svn repository:

hadoop-0.20.2-cdh3u3
hadoop-0.20.205.0

These were recently re-written, and have yet to be polished so you may find
them a little frustrating to use, be sure to post here with any
observations or questions.

There is a TUTORIAL.sh inside the hadoop directory you can run.
