[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-4651) Change behavior for CTRL + ;

Los Vitaly created NETBEANS-4651:
------------------------------------

             Summary: Change behavior for CTRL + ;
                 Key: NETBEANS-4651
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-4651
             Project: NetBeans
          Issue Type: Wish
    Affects Versions: 12.0
            Reporter: Los Vitaly
         Attachments: autoend.gif

I just wonder how shortcuts work in Netbeans. All are general for all programming language or specific for every PL?

For example, shortcut CTRL + ;  ALWAYS put semicolon in the end of line. But it useless for array, where it needed a comma.

Or inside function parenthesis it must be { not ;

If semicolon present in the end of the line it should put cursor on next line, not put another one.

Autocomplete should works like on GIF
