[jira] [Created] (MESOS-2218) Make master/slave help message width
uniform
Kapil Arya created MESOS-2218:
---------------------------------
Summary: Make master/slave help message width uniform
Key: MESOS-2218
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-2218
Project: Mesos
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Kapil Arya
Priority: Trivial
The help message displayed by --help for master and slave have some extra newlines and non-uniform text width with some lines as wide as 135 characters while others having less than 90 characters.
In part the problem is due to the "default" flag. Should there always be a new line before default values or not? Having one before flags with long help messages is better. However, for short messages, it might waste a whole line.
In any case, having a uniform policy will be helpful.
