Well, it sounds like screwed up a bit... 

The only reason we've deprecated the packages is because we want to move
the API to another package (possibly xni.psvi) in the next Xerces
release and thus wanted to give you a "warning" that these packages
might disappear. 

Basically, there is no replacement now, and you should use those
deprecated packages if you want to access PSVI.
