It would be nice if the core funktions (exspecially the DOSGi one) could be used without spring/blueprint. At the momment various dependencies at resolve time (require bundle/import package) and runtime dependecy an blueprint are introduced.
This might be okay in a "install all whatever it is" szenario but is undesireable when low footprint and less dependecies are prefered.

The best solution would be, if CXF works on plain OSGi services with an (optional) bridge to either spring(-DM) or blueprint.
