client java chat problem

hi,
here is a problem 
i have installed webserver on win98 SE, yahoo's javachat is not working
even though we tried installing jvm but complete window is not loaded on
users end but its working at gateway point ours is dialup connection the 
line conditions is not very good , please can give us a solution and is there
any need to install other java softwares (jdk ,..)
