launch tomcat at start up

Hi All:
I'm trying to launch tomcat automatically at the
time my computer starts up. I'm using window's XP
professional. I din't know much about how to start
tomcat this way. I've already searched through the
window's help menu, however, I couldn't get enough
information. Anybody knows how it works, Please let me
know. Very appreciate.
   Thank you.
   Yu Ye Zhou

... but be aware that if you do it this way you'll still have to log in to
whichever user has the files in the startup folder get it to start!

Doing it as a service would be a much better method.

Regards,

Eddie

Create a shortcut to the tomcat.bat file with the appropriate startup
parameter or startup.bat.

Put the shortcut in the startup folder in the start menu or whatever Windows
XP has as an equivalent. When windows starts whatever program shortcuts that
are in that folder get started automatically. I have Outlook Express,
HomeSite 4.5, and JBuilder 6 start when my Windows 2000 machine startsup.

Nathan.
