Re: [users@httpd] CGI file permissions reset to non-executable every night

What time is the chmod on the files happening? Have you checked the log
files to see what happens around that time? Generally, files just can't
change their permissions during the night. Either someone is doing it or
there is something like a Cron job running that does it.
