It Works in "Writer" as well as "Calc". But not Impress.

The attached file looks good in Acrobat Reader.
If you want to open it using a double-click in Windows, you need to rename it,
so it gets the file name extension .pdf.
When you export to pdf make sure, that "Automatic file name extension" is
checked, otherwise you need to add the proper file name extension manually.

NOT reproducible with tests based on reporter's rare dexcription with server
installation of "AOO 4.0.0 Final – German UI / German locale

German German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", Common 4.0-dev User Profile

appropriate bug report.
The effect you observed might have lots of reasons. For example the WIN OS File
dialog will not add a trailing ".pdf" if the file name already has a valid file
name extension. May be on your PC ".0" is a valid file name extension and you
do not use the AOO file dialog?
If you want to report bugs please consider our guidelines on
