The Apache Maven team has decided to retire the maven-eclipse-plugin, so this issue won't be fixed.

> Project: Maven Eclipse Plugin (RETIRED)
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Core : Workspace settings
> Affects Versions: 2.5.1
> Environment: Gentoo Linux 2008.0
> Maven 2.0.9

> When specifying resource-folders within the pom an Ant-Script called maven-eclipse.xml and an externalToolBuilder (Maven_Ant_Builder.launch) will be generated. However these two files are not included when executing an eclipse:clean.
> As I read in other posts eclipse:clean should restore the initial state of the project. That's why I attached a patch which cleans these two file, too.
> Further junit tests are not needed as the existing tests cover the functionality already.

> Phillip
