[jira] [Commented] (DRILL-3474) Filename should be an available column when querying a directory

Scott Wilburn commented on DRILL-3474:
--------------------------------------

For instances when there are many layers of directories found using wildcards, like data/*/20??/*.csv, it would be helpful for properties like "basename", "dirname" and "FQN" to also be available, unless those SQL functions already exist. This way, I may choose to use the fully qualified filename, the path, or just the filename in my SQL output.

> The file name should be a column which can be selected or filtered when querying a directory just like dir0, dir1 are available.
