[jira] [Updated] (INFRA-9095) Start monitoring individual applications served by whimsy

Daniel Gruno updated INFRA-9095:
--------------------------------
Status: Waiting for user (was: Waiting for Infra)

The general issue we have here is that we rely on a 3rd party to do our monitoring for us. Thus, we'd either need to supply this 3rd party with access to these areas through a role account on the machine, or we'd have to enable some public endpoints that can be checked. Thoughts, [~rubys]?

> Monitoring the whimsy landing page doesn't tell us much, and we frequently have individual applications that fail unbeknownst to us, with no warning until the user tells us they are down.
