   Just found this PR by Googling an issue that I'm having.
   
   I would love this feature to be implemented, currently I have an `ExternalTaskSensor` that just hangs forever whenever the child `Dag` fails, instead of propagating the failure upstream, this would solve it precisely. Any chance this can be merged or reopened for discussion?
