Sample Document
Steps how to reproduce Reproducible with server installation of "AOO 4.1.0-dev
– English UI / German locale - [AOO410m14(Build:9760) - Rev.
1583418_2014-04-02]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user
profile:
1. Doubleclick Ole text object. If you want to test function
click before "Text" and type blanks:
no line break at hyphens, complete text will be shifted to next line
2. Select text in text object (using mouse) → <control+c> for Copy →
Double click Text box → Click below heading text → <control+v> for paste
> Text appears.
Bug: blanks inserted behind the hyphens. :-(
> But unbreakable hyphens still work, select and
Copy – Paste back to text area still shows the u. h., and after you will
have deleted the blanks u. hyphens will work fine in Text object and
Text box
Additional info:
(a) Already Reproducible with server installation of "AOO 3.4.0 – German UI
/ German locale [AOO340m1(Build:9590) - Rev.1327774]" on
German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile
(b) Still ok with sever installation of "OOo 3.3.0 English UI / German locale
[OOO330m20 (Build 9567)]" on WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) DE
(c) I did not yet test other similar characters

Although I also think (but don't know) that most of these problems have
different roots, it is a very plausible approach to do a cleanup in this area,
may be a little more general as a "Formatting Mark" cleanup. Can you please
create a meta task issue to collect these problems?

@Rainer: Because I read today issue 63234 it should be handled together.
Please test the following:
Create text with unbreakable and optional hyphens in writer. Copy the text into
clipboard and paste it into the writer document by using the different formats
in Paste Special.
Following issues seems are related (not need to be a duplicate):

issue 22263
issue 97941
issue 19894
issue 78122
issue 16496
Maybe there should be a meta issue (TASK) for hyphens?
