is 1.0.0 stable?

Hi everyone,

I would imagine that 1.0.0 is "stable", but the stable link still takes 
one to the 0.20.203 release.  Is 1.0.0 ready for production usage?

 Yes it is.  Adding Matt, so that he can change the link when doing 1.0.1.
