Overall speed and quality using RTMPS

Hello everyone,

We are attempting to use OM with RTMPS encryption. It seems to slow things down considerably and reduces the quality of video that can be used if we want video and audio to be simultaneous. Has anyone had any luck using OM with encryption?

No problem, I had some issues to fix first. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Lawrence,

We are using RTMPS over HTTPS and all is working as expected, only issue
we are having is with the screen sharing + recording, it doesn't seem to
be working in the latest snaps but I believe this is being looked at.

I can't say we have seen any reduction in quality or slow down using
encryption but I haven't loaded it up that high, I'll run some tests and
see if it's the same here and let ya know.

Cheers
