[jira] Commented: (XALANC-613) Cannot pass value to stylesheet parameter if parameter name is namespace-qualified

David Bertoni commented on XALANC-613:
--------------------------------------

I think we just need to add an overload that accepts a XalanQName. I'm not sure how we could handle a lexical representation of a QName with a prefix, because you would need to provide a stylesheet for prefix resolution.

> Passing a value to a top-level parameter of a stylesheet works only if the parameter name is non-qualified.
> Otherwise, xalan fails with an "invalid qname" exception.
> Using the example in the binary distribution, try the following:
> > UseStylesheetParam.exe prefix:name 'value'
> UseStylesheetParam Error:
> InvalidQNameException: The name '{0}' is not a valid QName. (, line -1, column -1)
> I did not find any API to set a parameter that takes the namespace URI of the parameter name as an input in addition to the local name.
