[jira] Created: (CASSANDRA-2089) Distributed test for the dynamic
snitch
Distributed test for the dynamic snitch
---------------------------------------
Key: CASSANDRA-2089
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-2089
Project: Cassandra
Issue Type: Test
Components: Core
Reporter: Stu Hood
The dynamic snitch has turned into an essential component in dealing with partially failed nodes: it would be great to have it fully tested before the 0.8 release.
In order to implement a proper test of the snitch, it is necessary to be able to flip a switch to place a node in a degraded state.
