question on the task

ok maybe i'm missing something here. i want to execute a few java
tasks, but i want to execute each task in a different directory (not
the current directory). <exec> has a dir attribute, but <java> doesn't,
is that right? also no <cd> task? any solutions?
any help would be appreciated.
