Error (Nonexistent component: org.apache.maven.lifecycle.mapping.LifecycleMappingnar) for clean goal.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MNG-1559
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-1559
Project: Maven 2
Type: Bug
Components: maven-clean-plugin
Versions: 2.0
Reporter: Mark Donszelmann
Priority: Minor
Attachments: components.xml
This may or may not be a bug.
The attached "nar" packaging works fine for any other goal than "clean".
The "clean" goal works, but outputs the error message:
(Nonexistent component: org.apache.maven.lifecycle.mapping.LifecycleMappingnar)
When run with the "clean:clean" goal the message does not appear.

Resolution: Fixed
we may not want to release a whole new version of the default container for just this fix, but it's fixed in -alpha-9-SNAPSHOT of plexus-container-default.

John Casey commented on MNG-1559:
---------------------------------
this happened when we introduced full lifecycles for things like 'clean'.
It's not a big deal, the message just needs to be dialed down to debug.

Component: (was: maven-clean-plugin)
Complexity: Expert (was: Intermediate)
Remaining Estimate: 30 minutes
Original Estimate: 30 minutes
this is an issue with the underlying plexus container, so I'm unassigning it from the clean plugin.
