[jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-2564) nodetool should support resovling
IP addresses when printing ring
nodetool should support resovling IP addresses when printing ring
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Key: CASSANDRA-2564
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-2564
Project: Cassandra
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Tools
Reporter: Peter Schuller
Assignee: Peter Schuller
Priority: Minor
Attachments: CASSANDRA-2564-trunk.txt
Attaching a patch which adds an 'rring' command which works just like 'except' except tries to resolve IP addresses.
The slight change of an extra space in the output is due to hostnames being expected to be longer than the allocated space and we want a space in between the hostname and the up/down status.
