[jira] [Commented] (SMX4-872) Update Groovy library to latest stable version

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SMX4-872?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13065895#comment-13065895 ]

Jean-Baptiste Onofré commented on SMX4-872:
-------------------------------------------

As Camel 2.8.0 will use Groovy 1.8.0, it makes sense to update ServiceMix components to use this version as well.

I'm gonna create the Jira corresponding to the Groovy update in each components.

> As per this nabble thread : http://servicemix.396122.n5.nabble.com/Outdated-version-of-Groovy-in-ServiceMix-td4495088.html
> ServiceMix comes with a really outdated version of Groovy ( 1.5.6 ).
> Since the standard Groovy builds now come "OSGI-enabled", it would be great if the groovy libraries could be upgraded to a more current ( 1.7 or 1.8 as of this writing ) version.
