Is this a bug?

I have not seen any reply to this? I am really curious as this one is becoming more critical to us. Is there something I can do (custom serializer?) ?

Any pointers will be helpful.

Subject: java.lang.String is not a simple type

I am getting following error while accessing a web service deployed using AXIS 1.4

AXIS error

Fault - Bean attribute code is of type java.lang.String, which is not simple type.

(please note "code" is attribute in the schema.)

Is it the schema or AXIS bug? Can somebody assist me here? If needed, I can post WSDL.

Thank you,
Vipul
