It's not really what Andy requests, so much as it is a more effective way to
get help.

If RapidSVN broke after applying a Fedora update, then it may not have
anything to do with RapidSVN. It might have something to do with the way
RapidSVN was packaged by the Fedora Project. Or it might be because a
Fedora package that RapidSVN uses has changed somehow. Distributions
frequently package software with slight differences from the upstream
projects. That can cause frustrating problems, particularly when you mix
packages from different sources. And the list members here probably won't
be able to sort it out for you.

I looked at the bug link you posted. Your bug report to RapidSVN shows that
you are on Fedora 10 and that you took a new kernel update among many
others. None of them appear to involve RapidSVN, although they might be
prerequisites. It looks like the cause of the trouble has to do with your
window system.

If you take a new kernel, you need to reboot before you will actually be
running the new kernel. If you haven't already rebooted, you probably want
to. If you continue to have trouble because of the Fedora update, ask at
the fedora-users list to start.

Sorting out the real cause of the trouble can be tough, though so don't give
up. Good luck. Erik

You still haven't specified *what* that security update is.

You need to follow up with Fedora support to find out what that
security update "fixed" and what compatibility issues it may have.

Please define "the security update."

This is the Subversion mailing list. If you're having trouble with
RapidSVN, you should start at their support venue.

Attaching a large stack trace is useless for 99% of the posters here.
If someone requests it, include it, but I'd wager no one is going to
look at it here.

I'm sorry that radipSVN crashed on you. I'm not able to answer your
question, but encourage you to keep in mind the following:
  * Don't cross post to dev@ and users@. The two lists are different,
and posts appropriate for users@ are very rarely appropriate for
dev@. (I'm cross posting simply so that people on both lists know
that your message has been responded to. In replies, please remove
dev@.)
  * Post to the list appropriate for your project, in this case
radipSVN.
  * Don't attach large files to a list which reaches hundreds
(thousands?) of inboxes. If somebody needs a copy of the file, they
will request it, and you can put it on the web where they can download
it.

Best of luck in finding a solution to your problem.

Thanks,
-Hyrum
