Hi,

I try to working on this a bit but I seems harder than others.

Looks like they are stuck in 1.3/1.4 era which, if I understand correctly, doesn't support UTF-16 surrogate pairs.
Not sure if just leave it as is might be safer than treat all of them as UCS-2.
