SVN commit messages

Hi,

Just a reminder that every repo commit should really have a commit 
message.  Of course some commits seem trivial in the email 
notifications, but with tons of commits and looking quickly at the repo 
in viewcvs and other repo browsers the commit message is important for 
following what's going on.

Additionally, the eol-style needs to be set:
