initializeService behaviour

Hi All,
I have a quick question about the initializeService method behaviour -
if this method fails, shouldn't that prevent the usage of the service?
I currently have a method failing (because I didn't specify a property
correctly) in the init method, but the service method will get called in
any case. Should this be the case?
Cheers,
johan

Yes, that's by design. There is even a test case that ensures
this behaviour.
