mod jk + LimitRequestBody

Hello

More than a year ago i submitted :
http://w6.metronet.com/~wjm/tomcat/2001/Oct/msg01061.html
which is generally a little change in mod_jk.c to
decline requests which are bigger than Apache's LimitRequestBody.
At the time i was requested to send a diff which i did but nothing happened.
Since then i got serveral Emails asking me for the DLL (yes yes , Apache on win2k :-( )
which i was happy to send , any reason why this feature should not go into mod_jk / mod_jk2 ?
is there a better wat to handle this ?

Thanks
David
