   @sardell this is a nice improvement, thanks! I'm +1 by inspection pending a quick answer on my question about the server vs client local time, assuming it's local to the user's browser (i.e. you can go ahead and merge this PR). If for some reason this actually uses the server's time, I think we should discuss it a moment before we commit as I think it should be the user's timezone.
