Synapse not able to read WSDL

We are using WSO2 Carbon with Apache synapse, and it is not able to read the attached WSDL. We get the error "Unable to add proxy service :: Unable to add Proxy service : *exampleServiceName* :: Error building service from WSDL" However, the web service does work when we call it directly. Does anybody know if it's a problem with our wsdl or with synapse?

Resolution: Invalid
You should report this against the product you are using, and not Synapse - unless you use an Apache Synapse distribution directly. The issue could depend on the version of Carbon, the version of Axis2 it uses and other dependencies and variants, so unless you can prove that your WSDL - which is valid - does not work with a released version or a snapshot build of Synapse, there isn't much we can do. If there indeed is a bug with vanilla Synapse, please feel free to re-open this issue
