Clear cache for HBase reading test

Hi there,

I want to test Hbase0.20.2 reading performance.
HBase will check cache data first then to file, right?
If right, any ways that I can clear the cache in order to
test the performance of hbase reading from file.
Thank you

Fleming

Re: Clear cache for HBase reading test

Posted by Jean-Daniel Cryans <jd...@apache.org>.
Setting hfile.block.cache.size to 0 will disable caching. See
hbase-default.xml for more info.
