the current implementation is doing nothing else than parsing the content
of the response. its working like the size assertion and is extracting 
the HTTP
response body (i think there is a small bug in the size assertion part,

what exactly do you mean with xml link parsing and xpath support? how
should this look like (or is there already an implementation)?

the next step for me is to clean the code and to submit it as proposed 
by mike
via bugzilla.
