Build failing w/o rebuilding jackrabbit-2.8-SNAPSHOT

Hi, the build currently fails for me:

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal

or more projects in the reactor. Reason: Unable to get dependency
information for

org.apache.jackrabbit:jackrabbit-aws-ext:jar:2.8-SNAPSHOT:
Non-resolvable parent POM: Could not find artifact
org.apache.jackrabbit:jackrabbit-parent:pom:2.8-SNAPSHOT
[ERROR] org.apache.jackrabbit:jackrabbit-aws-ext:jar:2.8-20140314.170113-2

after building jackrabbit 2.8-SNAPSHOT manually, it works again.
can we fix this?
