[jira] [Created] (CB-1883) Should we document the trustAllHosts parameter for FileTransfer.download/upload?

Simon MacDonald created CB-1883:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Should we document the trustAllHosts parameter for FileTransfer.download/upload?
                 Key: CB-1883
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-1883
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Android
            Reporter: Simon MacDonald
            Assignee: Simon MacDonald

I need some guidance on this. Should we document the parameter on FileTransfer.download/upload that allows self signed certificates to work? Or should we continue to treat it as a secret menu item like In 'N Out Burger?

Yes! This should be documented, and we should recommend AGAINST using Self-Signed Certs!

BTW: In N' Out has secret menu items? I wish I knew this when I was at BABBQ!
