Hadoop QA machine configuration / getting a Jenkins account

Hello Hadoop Developers,

A couple of questions about Hadoop QA:
(1) Does anyone know what the configuration of Hadoop QA boxes is?
Specifically, I am interested in the amount of memory available on these
boxes.
(2) How to get an account for https://builds.apache.org/?

Thanks,

Hi Giri,

Thank you for the memory details. I will now assume these are 8 GB boxes.

How can I get an account on Jenkins? Can registered users trigger builds on
demand?

Thanks!

Mikhali,

gkesavan@minerva:~$ free -g
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 7 3 4 0 0 1
-/+ buffers/cache: 1 5
Swap: 22 0 21

Hi Giri,

Thank you for your prompt response. I am trying to debug recent HBase unit
test failures that only appear in Hadoop QA and are not easily reproducible
locally, such as the following:

https://builds.apache.org/job/HBase-TRUNK/2658/testReport/

This is not Java heap memory which is configurable in HBase's pom.xml but
native memory, suggesting that the machine might be rather memory
constrained (e.g. 2 GB or so).

Thanks!

Mikhali,

I can get you the memory details, May I know the reason please?
