[jira] [Commented] (MCHANGES-233) Add option to skip announcement
if there are no changes or changes.xml file is missing
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MCHANGES-233?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15037787#comment-15037787 ]
Daniel Urban commented on MCHANGES-233:

Please reopen this issue.
As Louis Jacomet worte: We want to generate an announcement for every build we do on the continuous integration server. But we do not want to have a build fail because there is no issue with a configured status associated with the release.
Use case:
- Announcement is created with every build
- Only Jira is used
- Version is changed in POM
- no resolved issue for new version is in Jira
- build fails with exception
The JiraMojo supports the case that no issue is in Jira and generated a empty list of issues. Please make it possible for the AnnouncementMojo.

> It will be good to have some option to skip announcement generation if there are no changes for artifact. Now if there are no changes build fails with error:
> No releases found in any of the configured issue management systems.
