## Rationale for this change
no need to hold on memory when no more data will be sent
## What changes are included in this PR?
on finish/limit we replace the `BatchCoalescer` with a mock one to drop all the data
## Are these changes tested?
No
## Are there any user-facing changes?
not public facing ones
