Ofbiz logistics and warehousing services extention
As Ofbiz user for few weeks now.
I am investigating the possibility of logistics and warehousing in OfBiz, if
the theses services are implemented /available in Ofbiz can somebody point
me to ?
If I want to extended a service to fulfill my this witch services can be a
good candidate to look at ?

Warehousing services exist mostly under applications/product/servicedef/services_facility.xml but not only. It's at least the best place to begin with...

Hi Barou,
The 2nd quarter of this year I worked on a project regarding dynamic LSP
integration. And I used OFBiz as a reference point. What I found out was
that OFBiz is capable of handling the warehousing and logistics definition
aspects (routing, etc), though some elementary (conceptual) stuff needs to
be kept in mind regarding domain specific intricacies.
The main aspect I found that would be a complicating factor is the order
mgt processes. When being a LSP and applying OFBiz as the ERP solution, one
needs to keep in mind the various descriptions/definitions regarding
customer, supplier, vendor, acceptant, etc and work that into the order
processes and screens.

Thanks to Jacques Le Roux for his suggestion about Warehousing..
Now I am really looking for the logistics implementation of Ofbiz I will be
surprised that Ofbiz has not been confronted with this issue before.
Or if anybody know an other open source extension of Ofbiz that has
implemented the Logistics services ?
