[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-6534) Have to click in field to access
VMware properties
Mike Tutkowski created CLOUDSTACK-6534:
------------------------------------------
Summary: Have to click in field to access VMware properties
Key: CLOUDSTACK-6534
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-6534
Project: CloudStack
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
Components: UI, VMware
Affects Versions: 4.4.0
Environment: Mac OS X 10.9.2
Chrome 34.0.1847.131
Reporter: Mike Tutkowski
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 4.5.0
If you are adding a VMware cluster to CloudStack, I have noticed that you need to click the mouse in the Cluster textbox in order to access the Datacenter properties (they are not displayed simply by selecting VMware from the combobox; also, tabbing down to the Cluster textbox does not make these properties visible either).
When on the Add Cluster dialog, these properties are not typically important as you generally fill them in at the zone level before coming to the Add Cluster dialog. However, I wonder if we should expose them to the end user who is creating a cluster as soon as the end user selects VMware from the combobox.
