It was either [XMLTools4Netbeans|http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/40292/xmltools4netbeans] (Geertjan was the plugin owner) or [XMLTool|http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/21893/xml-tools], both are marked as usable for Netbeans 7.1 resp. 7.2. Too bad that XML support was not further developed. I haven't tried it here, but some of the old plugins also work in newer Netbeans versions.
